The steak and chicken philly sandwiches are always very good. Our favorite thing to do is to wait for Two for Tuesday and get two pizzas, one pepperoni and one sausage...you get the second for five bucks. Can't beat it. Food is generally pretty good, but the hours don't make sense. Not open on the weekends? Seems like you'd want to be open Sat-Sun and skip Mon-Tues if you wanted to be open only 5 days a week. But, if you can catch them open, definitely worth a stop.
Super good food. Hours they are open tho are a bit of a mystery. Website says one thing sign on window says another. I've had the best luck enjoying the food there Tues-Thurs. 12:00-16:00
Hiding just off the side of I-79 between Sutton and Flatwoods West Virginia this tiny pizza spot is one of my top pizza pickups. Eating here allowed me to get away from the traditional pizza spots and have a little taste of locality. This establishment is the first pick for the local sporting events to fill up their concessions. I've always loved the place but found that during the transition from summer to fall they are super busy. Sometimes you may have to call early to get a pizza put in. The inside is your traditional local spot style. You will definitely be seeing the establishments pizza more traditionally at sporting events and outside the business. I leave that one star out because it is busy most of the time and can take a good amount of time to get ahold of your pizza. Other than that I definitely recommend trying a pizza for yourself.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I am not from the area, but when I came up here for work i fell in love. GREAT food and GREAT prices. I have been to Philadelphia and tried the original philly cheese steak and it does not even compare. Stancatti's Philly cheese steak is the best I have ever tried, its HUGE and is for a great price. I will be traveling to Sutton more often just to eat at this place!!!!
Stancati's is a Italian restaurant in the town of Sutton WV. We decided to give it a try for work lunch one afternoon on the advice of a coworker. We ordered two large pizzas with all the meats and two large supreme pizzas. We also orders two orders of cheese bread sticks and a Stromboli. Turned out that the day we ordered is the day they do buy one and get the second for $5. We ended up getting all that food for less than $60. The place doesn't look like anything spectacular and has a well aged dining room. The food however was great. They do not skimp on toppings. The crust is fresh and tasty for a NY Style pizza. The sauce is house made fresh and it is delicious. The cheese breadsticks were packed with lots of mozzarella. I really like this place and want to return to try their Sicilian. I hear it is superb.
We were on Rt 79N and got off to find a place to eat. As good a calzone as I've had anywhere outside Italy and NY. Sauce is excellent, home made and fresh. Husband had the Italian sausage parmesan sub, 12", real Italian bread. Service is friendly but if you dont mind the wait, its fine. Very busy place! Glad we stopped!
Everything here is pretty good, but if you want to get the best thing on the menu, go straight to the Philly Cheese Steak. Holy cow. And cheap, too. Ambience isn't the best, but there's always carry-out and delivery.
